Early in my college years as a freshman and sophomore, I actively developed and contributed to various open source softwares:
- From 2018-19 I served as a maintainer for Metakgp's campus centric projects, services, apps and institute wiki pages with 10k+ monthly users from our institute.
- In 2019, I served as the Executive Head for Kharagpur Open Source Society, where I taught various workshops on python, git, ubuntu, GoLang.
- 2018-19, I actively developed various packages for Natural Language Processing in the Julia Language.
- I mentored students in Google Summer of Code 2020, Google Code-In, 2019 and Kharagpur Winter of Code, 2018 programmes with their projects, mini-projects and first Pull-requests respectively.
Drawing from my open source background, I bring the same principles of collaboration and scientific reproducibility to my ML/AI research.
